"Gospel Of Mark" "The New Testament"
I just finished reading the "Gospel Of Mark" in The New Testament. I always read exclusively from the New American Standard Version. I am wondering if the other versions, such as The Living Bible, The New International Version, etc., have a certain word that is used VERY often in that Gospel. In the NASB version that I read, the word that is used about 47 times is "immediately". Here are some of the chapters and verses where "immediately" is used in the NASB: 1:10, 1:12, 1:18, 1:20, 1:28, 1:29, 1:30, 1:42, 2:8, 5:29, 5:30, 5:42, 6:27, 6:45, 6:50, 8:10, 9:15, 9:20, 9:24, 10:52, 14:43, 14:72, and 15:1. Those are some that I found after briefly scanning the sixteen chapters of "The Book Of Mark". That word stands out even more when I am reading "Mark" as I am listening to the book on CD. It makes for distracting reading in my mind. However, if that's how it translates from Aramaic, what can you do?
